Job Description

Imec is seeking a Senior Memory Circuit Design Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in memory design and technology exploration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, layout, and integration of bitcells, arrays, and complex periphery ICs for emerging technologies.
  • Assist in the design and layout of test-keys for hardware demonstrations.
  • Evaluate power, performance, and area of various memory technologies.
  • Conduct pre/post silicon validation to ensure designs meet high standards.
  • Foster collaboration with process teams in a DTCO environment.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in memory design, layout, and implementation.
  • Basic coding capabilities.
  • Experience with circuit design, layout, and simulation tools (Virtuoso IC design, Hspice, Calibre DRC/LVS).
  • Novel memory testchip design/execution/validation experience is a plus.
