Job Description:

At GXO Logistics, we are seeking a skilled People Services Specialist to join our central team. This 12-month fixed-term contract role is based out of our Head Office in Northampton and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process personnel-related data in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in line with retention guidance.
  • Work closely with peers and colleagues to oversee and provide compliance and governance structure to service improvements.
  • Maintain and validate data in HR System, including new hires, terminations, transfers, salary changes, and work locations.

Requirements:
  • Experience in an HR-related role, with a CIPD qualification an added bonus.
  • A minimum of 1 year in a shared service environment for a large, complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and contractual law.
  • Able to work at pace and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
