Quality Assurance Specialist

Hobson Prior is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality of products used in clinical trials. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving product batches, resolving quality issues, and supporting the training and development of other quality assurance staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and approve product batches to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues related to product quality.
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in training and developing Quality Assurance Officers.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in preparing for and hosting audits.
- Ensure all staff complete and document necessary training each year.
- Ensure labels and batch records are created in a timely manner according to the production schedule.
- Knowledge of aseptic or terminal sterilisation, ideally sterilisation by filtration or moist heat.
- Experience with Annex 1 requirements and controls for sterile manufacturing.
- Experience in creating, developing, and maintaining a contamination control strategy, including Environmental Monitoring Strategies.
