Job Description:
The position of Mig / Tig Welder lateshift is available at Ambitek Limited. This role involves working in a manufacturing environment where welding skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
As a welder, the primary tasks include coded welding using various processes like TIG/MIG/MAG/FCAW/SAW. The ability to weld different thicknesses, from 8-50mm, and meet quality standards through visual, MPI, and UT inspections is crucial.

Working Conditions:
The job requires working from engineering drawings with minimal supervision. Initial weld tests must be passed, including a 20mm thick carbon steel, single-sided butt weld using TIG root and MAG/FCAW passes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
A valid NVQ, City & Guilds, or BTEC Engineering qualification is necessary along with a pass in T Fillet and V butt in downhand and vertical up positions. A drug and alcohol test must also be passed before being offered a position.

Estimated Salary Range: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (approximately £10.50/hour - £12.15/hour for the afternoons shift)
