Lead Medical Education Roles

We are seeking experienced consultants to join our Medical Education Department as Care Group Directors of Medical Education. These roles will provide a unique opportunity to shape the education and training of current and future doctors in one of the largest trusts in the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Director of Medical Education in overseeing and coordinating work around the education and training of medical students and junior doctors at all levels.
  • Hold a specific portfolio of work aligned to the Trust's Care Groups.
  • Collaborate with Care Group Associate Medical Directors and managing directors to ensure education and training needs are fully integrated into clinical and operational services.
  • Advocate for Medical Education and ensure its voice is heard in business and operational decisions.
  • Lead a team to implement processes for learner support, including additional support, SRTT, LTFT, and Flexible Portfolio Training.
Requirements
  • Significant educational management and leadership skills and experience.
  • Ability to manage education programmes and resources.
  • Collaborative working skills, with the ability to work with external partners.
