About Humres - Construction Recruitment Specialists
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Contracts Manager to join our client, a reputable Small/Medium sized Mechanical Building Services Contractor. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects, including Commercial Heating, Domestic Services, Above Ground Drainage, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage projects from £50K to £1M, including placing orders with specialist subcontractors, plant, and materials
* Organize site labor and liaise with the professional team, including the Architect, Consultant, and QS, the main contractor, and the site foreman
* Prepare monthly valuations and operating & maintenance instructions
* Markup record drawings and prepare and finalize final Accounts
Requirements:
* ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent
* Experience in running/managing HVAC Projects
* Design capability a bonus for Design & Build Projects
* Creative and innovative thinker with a flexible approach
* Car allowance £6,400 with HMRC approved mileage rates
* Choice of company vehicle once probation is complete
