The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our Site Maintenance Team in Faversham. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining on-site machinery and ensuring a 100% safety standard is embedded in everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance on the site sorter to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the required schedule and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults with the machine and across the wider site.
  • Be proactive in your approach, always looking for ways to improve things.
  • Carry out repair and improvement work across the site, plant, and equipment.
  • Ensure all work undertaken and equipment downtime are accurately recorded on our CMMS.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £49,000, shift premium of £2,922 paid on completion of probation, and overtime premium of 33%. You will also receive 20% M&S discount on most things, 20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and access to a wide range of wellbeing support.

Shift Pattern

We operate a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with 4 days of 06:00 – 18:00 and 4 days of 18:00 – 06:00. This is designed to accommodate your lifestyle and ensure work fits seamlessly into your life.

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, with a strong understanding of machinery and equipment maintenance. You will also need to be proactive, able to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
