We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our CNC machines and Kuka robots.
Key Responsibilities:- Programming of CNC machines and Kuka Robots.
- Ensuring daily targets are fulfilled.
- Implementing Lean Management, supporting 5S and TPMs.
- Adjusting of machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines/robots as they arise.
- Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and TPMs.
- Train new employees on how to properly operate/Set CNC machines/Robots.
- Reading and interpreting technical Drawings and design models
- Must have experience and a good working knowledge of Power Mill.
- Experience and Knowledge of Openmind Hypermill Software.
- Vericut experience desirable.
- Knowledge of composites and how composite components are manufactured.
- Basic knowledge of the make-up of race cars and road cars.
- Basic Knowledge of stock Control.
- A minimum of 2 years working within the F1/Motorsport/Automotive industry.
- Fanuc3 & 5 axis control systems for programming and operating.
- 3-axis Fusion 360 CAM software, programme and operating.
- Power mill CAM software, programme and operating.
- Good organisational and communications skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, and on multiple concurrent projects.
- To be proficient in Microsoft 365.
- H&S Awareness.
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Working hours will be between 8am and 4:30pm with a 1pm finish on a Friday, although some flexibility may be required.
