Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Gousto. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of production machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, set up, and maintain machinery to ensure production efficiency.
  • Respond to stoppage calls from the control room and complete planned OAC maintenance tasks.
  • Undergo specific training to safely complete duties, including working with line operatives on breaks and taking breaks at different times.
  • Proactively maintain machinery, replace belts and bands, and fix issues that may occur during shifts.
  • Identify machine parts, details, and manuals to enable sourcing of replacement parts.
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.
  • Deliver planned maintenance SOPs as per the site PPM schedule.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in FMCG.
  • Mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A confident and forward-thinking team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and problem-solving.
  • Ambitious and looking to progress in a fast-paced environment.
