Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Design Verification Engineer to join our growing team at IC Resources. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for verifying the correctness of hardware security features using CHERI technology.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the design team to understand and define verification requirements.
  2. Develop and maintain verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios.
  3. Execute test plans and verify the correctness of hardware security features.
  4. Identify and debug issues found during verification and work to resolve them in a timely manner.
  5. Communicate progress and findings to the cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of hardware verification methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for FPGA/ASIC verification.
  • Familiarity with security features and protocols, such as CHERI, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of UK working rights.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a collaborative work environment.
