About the Role

Rivelin Robotics is seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in Sheffield, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing our software platform, which provides business insights, operational telemetry, and raw data for our autonomous robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a cloud-based deployment strategy to ensure scalability and reliability
  • Design and implement new features to speed up development, including writing automated tests to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Review and improve the safety and security of our codebase to protect our intellectual property and customer data
  • Leverage infrastructure-as-code and DevOps techniques to streamline our development process and reduce errors
  • Design and implement a massive data store and machine learning pipeline to support our autonomous robots
  • Integrate, optimize, debug, and deploy state-of-the-art algorithms and methods to improve our products

Requirements:

  • Significant experience building automated cloud management systems using Terraform, CDK, or similar
  • Experience with cloud-scale data management tools to ensure efficient data processing and storage
  • Experience with distributed data capture and system monitoring to ensure real-time insights
  • Experience with cloud services for identity management and user authentication to ensure secure access
  • Experience with software licensing solutions to ensure compliance and revenue growth
  • Experience creating at least one data management platform or machine learning pipeline to support autonomous robots
  • Desire to build experience with point-cloud feature extraction to enhance our products
