Role Overview

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Geography educator to join our thriving department, teaching students from KS3-5.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with the Head of Subject for Geography, leading on agreed aspects of Geography teaching across the department and making a significant contribution to this highly successful department.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of high-quality teaching and learning, with the ability to teach Geography to all levels, including up to A-Level.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Teach Geography to students from KS3-5, delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  2. Work collaboratively with the Head of Subject for Geography to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  3. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Experience of teaching Geography in a secondary school setting.
