About the Role

As a Recovery Motivator, you will work closely with service users, building relationships and providing guidance to help them navigate the complexities of substance misuse. You will also work collaboratively with our team and external partners to develop and deliver effective support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and engage with service users to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to service users, helping them to access specialist advice and services.
  • Work with community groups and organizations to develop and deliver effective support services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including service users, families, and community partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our service's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working in a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a willingness to seek out new opportunities and challenges.
