Job Title: Major Loss Adjuster - UK Region

Description:

Aviva is hiring a Major Loss Adjuster to join their team in the UK region. As a key member of the Technical Claims function, you will be responsible for handling high-value and complex domestic claims.

You will provide a customer-focused service by handling household claims from instruction to completion, within agreed financial authority limits. This includes reasonable travel across the UK and flexible working arrangements, which may include evenings and weekends.

A bit about the job:

This role requires an experienced insurance professional with a deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, including subrogation, underwriting practices, and full ABI report writing.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of building practices and regulations in relation to property reinstatements and tendering processes. A proven track record of managing claims cradle to grave with an intense focus on customer satisfaction and service is essential.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in dealing with complex home claims, with exposure to losses in excess of £100,000.
  • Deep knowledge of technical insurance principles, including subrogation and underwriting practices.
  • Strong understanding of building practices and regulations in relation to property reinstatements.
  • Proven track record of managing claims cradle to grave with an intense focus on customer satisfaction and service.
