Data Modeler Job Description

Tiger Analytics is seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into working logical and physical data models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Logical Data Model (LDM) and Physical Data Model (PDM) for the project.
  • Develop and maintain the Source to Target Data Mapping document for this project.
  • Gather and publish data dictionaries, maintaining data models and capturing data models from existing databases.
  • Identify business needs, organize and define data, create and maintain Conceptual, Logical and Physical data models.
  • Maintain appropriate Version Control on data models.
  • Participate in the de-normalization of the data model, ensuring that business rules are implemented via an alternate mechanism.
  • Design and implement data lakes and data warehouses.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in designing data lakes and data warehouses.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • CPG/FMCG domain experience is a must.
