Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Computer Science teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Computer Science teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students, cultivating an environment of learning, and preparing students for their exams and coursework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to help students understand the complexities and intrigue of Computer Science.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to develop a passion for Computer Science.
  • Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to support student success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded education.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in Computer Science and education, incorporating best practices and new technologies into your teaching.

Requirements:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong understanding of the subject matter.
  • Experience of teaching Computer Science in a secondary school setting, with a proven track record of student success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
