About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is a leading provider of social care services, and we are currently seeking an experienced social services specialist to join our team. As a social services specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting vulnerable children and families, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Job Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and families, providing support and guidance through regular home visits and meetings. You will also be expected to undertake thorough assessments, develop effective care plans, and regularly review and update these plans as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of children and families, prioritizing their needs and providing support through regular home visits and meetings.
  • Undertake thorough assessments, developing effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each child and family.
  • Regularly review and update care plans, ensuring that they remain relevant and effective in achieving positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare workers, teachers, and social workers, to ensure that children and families receive comprehensive support.
  • Stay up-to-date with research findings and innovative practice within social work, applying this knowledge to improve services and outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with vulnerable children and families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

What We Offer

A competitive salary of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a comprehensive training program, opportunities for career development, and a supportive team environment.

Salary: £47,000 per annum
