Job Title: Technical Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to join our team at All Star Lanes Limited. As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of pinspotter reliability, ensuring the smooth running and organization of the bowling venue, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high levels of pinspotter reliability and ensure that all servicing and adjustments are made to company specification.
  • Implement and ensure the company Health & Safety Policy is met at all times, and ensure that all staff and customers are aware of and comply with the policy.
  • Ensure that all potentially faulty electrical spares and motors are reported to the Site Technical Manager, and that all parts returned from repair are immediately put on test to ensure they are covered under warranty.
  • Deliver the company bowling standards as identified on the bowling department audit, and ensure that all front of house bowling equipment meets company expectations.
  • Ensure that all training received is recorded in the technician's workbook, and that all daily, weekly, and monthly administration is completed to company standards and meets deadlines.
  • Lead by example, setting the pace and standards for the team, and communicate effectively with staff and customers to ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Notify the Site Technical Manager of low stock levels, and assist in monitoring the condition of building facilities and premises to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Complete a daily lamp check, replace all faulty lamps, and record all non-working fittings and report them to the Site Technical Manager.
  • Accompany all external contractors when work is being completed on the shift, and ensure that all work is completed to the required standard.
  • Deliver the company building standards as identified in the quarterly facility audit, and ensure that all stocks, site keys, equipment, and chemicals are kept secure at all times.
  • Assist in monitoring the condition of building facilities and premises, and raise any issues that require attention to the Site Technical Manager.
  • Notify the Site Technical Manager of all sub-standard or incorrect parts received, and assist in ordering and purchasing of spare parts and consumables.
  • Ensure that all deliveries are checked and signed off on the delivery note, and that all employee holidays are aligned with the holiday policy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical operations role, with a strong understanding of pinspotter reliability and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to be on-call as required.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
