This is a full lifecycle project management role incorporating various duties: design, installation, commissioning, and modification.

Working with various instrumentation such as level, flow, temperature, pressure, mass instrumentation, PLC controllers, safety instrumented systems & intrinsic safety etc.

Duties will include:
  1. Conceptualise and design (through the use of CAD) instrumentation projects.
  2. Carry out modifications and updating of relevant records, following the change-management system.
  3. Creation/updating of drawings and diagrams; loop drawings, P&ID's, I/O lists, equipment schedules, network diagrams etc.
  4. Continuous improvement activities and planned maintenance.
Requirements
  • A strong background and in-depth knowledge of instrumentation relating to the chemical manufacturing process (or related industrial processes; Petro-Chem, Oil & Gas...).
  • A MINIMUM 'Higher' qualification (HNC / HND, Degree) related to the role.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with clear project-based knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of H&S / HSE requirements + understanding of DSEAR/ATEX regulations.
  • Attention to detail and clear communicator (verbal and written).
  • Sponsorship may be considered ONLY for candidates possessing in-depth and direct Chemical Industry experience AND relevant duties to this role.
  • Candidates must already reside in the UK and be able to attend a site interview if requested.
