Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Junior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will support the FP&A Manager and collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and enable informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed financial analysis across various areas, including costs, variances, and profit.
- Maintain financial models and forecast revenues, expenses, and other metrics.
- Support Sales, Marketing, and Ops departments with financial guidance.
- Produce analysis on product margins, stock, and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze pricing, promotions, new and existing products, and sales activities.
- Evaluate the viability of new ideas, CAPEX investments, and projects.
- Maintain processes with the IT team to ensure best practice and optimize efficiency.
- Support the implementation and development of new systems and tools.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting as required.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Finance Analyst or highly experienced.
- CIMA/ACCA early stage or part-qualified and looking to progress studies.
- Experience in a multi-site setup, stock-based industry highly beneficial.
- Intermediate level of competency with Microsoft Excel and Office package.
- Experience using Qlik Sense and Power Query beneficial.
- Solid knowledge of Finance team workings, including best practice and working to strict deadlines.
- Common sense approach to dealing with problems.
- Enthusiastic attitude to resolving issues.
- Ability to clearly express issues and proposed solutions in writing or verbally.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
