Job Title: Peer Mentoring Lecturer

Are you passionate about education and rehabilitation? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of adult learners?

We are seeking a qualified Peer Mentoring Lecturer to join our team at a correctional facility. As a Peer Mentoring Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum and providing guidance and support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Personal and Social Development courses to adult learners
  • Assist with the capture of student data and retention rates
  • Provide initial curriculum-related advice and guidance
  • Carry out interviewing, induction, assessment, and examination of students

Requirements:

  • Good basic general education including GCSE (or) equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Proven experience in an administrative role
  • Experience of working in a learning environment
  • Competent with technology/strong IT skills

What We Offer:

  • Part-time position with 18.5 hours per week
  • Salary scale: £26,760-£34,439 per annum (prorata for part-time working hours £13,000-£17,000)
  • Annual leave: 281.5 hours per annum, inclusive of statutory bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time working hours)
