We are seeking a qualified Peer Mentoring Lecturer to join our team at a correctional facility. As a Peer Mentoring Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum and providing guidance and support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Personal and Social Development courses to adult learners
- Assist with the capture of student data and retention rates
- Provide initial curriculum-related advice and guidance
- Carry out interviewing, induction, assessment, and examination of students
Requirements:
- Good basic general education including GCSE (or) equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Experience of working in a learning environment
- Competent with technology/strong IT skills
What We Offer:
- Part-time position with 18.5 hours per week
- Salary scale: £26,760-£34,439 per annum (prorata for part-time working hours £13,000-£17,000)
- Annual leave: 281.5 hours per annum, inclusive of statutory bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time working hours)
