Job Overview

We provide specialist child and adolescent mental health services to support children and young people experiencing eating disorders.

Our multidisciplinary team includes consultant psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, nurses, social workers, family therapists, dietitians, and administrators.

We offer evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioural therapy, cognitive analytical therapy, and guided self-help.

Treatment involves assessment and participation in planned programmes, including individual work, family work, and specialist dietetic input.

Main Duties of the Job

To provide highly specialist systemic family therapy services to clients across all sectors of care.

The post-holder will be responsible for co-ordinating, developing, and delivering a variety of family and systemic interventions.

The post-holder will research new practices, understand, and apply evidence-based approaches to family treatments and service user involvement.

The post holder will advise and consult on clients' care to colleagues and non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines.

The post holder will also be accountable for their own professional actions and interpret broad occupational policies.

Essential Information

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
