About the Role

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities include:



  • Providing tailored support to a child on a 1:1 basis, promoting engagement and learning through creativity and patience
  • Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and external specialists to ensure a cohesive approach to meeting the child's unique needs
  • Working effectively within a team to create an optimal learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth
  • Offering encouragement and promoting participation in classroom activities, tailoring your approach to meet the individual child's needs
  • Following guidance from the teacher and other professionals to help the child succeed in their educational journey
