Financial Director

Equifind is seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our team and support the growth of our Real Estate PE firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and experience working with Real Estate investment funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage two members of staff, including one permanent and one interim employee.
  2. Oversight of all bookkeeping, rent collection, payment runs, and payroll.
  3. Administration of bank accounts and entity formation.
  4. Production of management accounts, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  5. Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and performance metrics, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements and the investments/funds.
  7. Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency across the organization.
  8. Produce all CAPEX Reporting and cash flow projections.
  9. All statutory tax & VAT filings and compliance matters, including Partner personal and company.
  10. Work with the Investment team and Partners on sales and acquisitions, analysis, and due diligence.
  11. Oversight of external auditors, lawyers, and other service providers.
  12. Ad hoc projects.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 10 years experience.
  2. Significant real estate fund or PE experience.
  3. Able to play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of projects, optimizing capital structures.
  4. Commercially astute and able to demonstrate an entrepreneurial streak.
