DevOps Engineer for Cloud-Based Solutions

About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Reuters Imagen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and evolution of our cloud-based infrastructure and software solutions.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Infrastructure Management: Install and configure cloud-based infrastructure, including platforms like Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Function Apps.
- Software Deployment and Customization: Install, configure, and troubleshoot proprietary software solutions, specifically ImagenWeb, utilizing platform editing tools to achieve desired functionalities.
- Data Migration Expertise: Develop and execute bespoke data migration processes, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of information.
- Technology Research and Implementation: Stay abreast of emerging cloud technologies and best practices, actively researching and implementing solutions to enhance workflows and operational efficiency.
- Automation Development: Design and implement technical solutions to automate workflows related to software delivery and content onboarding, streamlining processes and improving productivity.
- Customer Support and Collaboration: Work closely with technical support colleagues to troubleshoot customer issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Communication Excellence: Communicate effectively with customers through various channels, including in-person meetings, email, and conference calls, ensuring clear understanding and addressing their needs.
About You
To excel as a DevOps Engineer at Reuters Imagen, you will possess:
- Proven experience in cloud computing environments (Azure, AWS, etc.) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and agile methodologies.
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within teams and with customers.
