About the Role
The Senior Technology Sales Director will play a key role in implementing selling strategies for defined workflow and student success solutions within the higher education sector. This includes digital self-service capabilities, organizational workflow systems, automated forms, performance analytics, AI-powered student engagement chatbots, and more.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional understanding of the higher education marketplace and competitor offerings to drive the company's growth strategy and investments. They will cultivate existing relationships and build new ones with a 'hunter' mentality, demonstrating exceptional sales skills and ability to manage priorities and workflow.
A minimum of 10 years of related IT consulting and solutions sales experience in the Higher Education sector is required, along with a proven quota track record and established current relationships with C-Suite decision-makers in the sector.
The salary for this position is estimated at $150,000-$175,000 USD per annum, depending on location and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate existing relationships and build new ones with a 'hunter' mentality
- Demonstrate exceptional understanding of the higher education marketplace and competitor offerings
- Implement selling strategies for defined workflow and student success solutions
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to hit revenue targets
- Manage priorities and workflow to meet sales goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and more than 10 years of related IT consulting and solutions sales experience in the Higher Education sector
- Proven quota track record
- Established current relationships with C-Suite decision-makers in the sector
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
