About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Culinary Support Associate to join our team at Chartwells. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

About the Company

Chartwells - Schools is part of Compass Group UK&I, the leading provider of catering and support services to the education sector. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all employees to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure and Children's Barred List check will be required for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparing high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  2. Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas
  3. Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
  4. Assisting with loading or unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
  5. Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
  6. Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  7. Complying with Health & Safety regulations

About You

We want to hear from individuals who are self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
