The successful candidate will have a strong research record in numerical analysis and machine learning, and will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to lecture a range of courses in numerical analysis, data science, and related areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in numerical analysis and machine learning, and publish high-quality research papers in top-tier journals.
  • Develop and teach courses in numerical analysis, data science, and related areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Supervise PhD students and provide guidance on their research projects.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and academics to develop new research projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • PhD in Numerical Analysis or Applied Mathematics.
  • Strong research record in numerical analysis and machine learning.
  • Ability to lecture a range of courses in numerical analysis, data science, and related areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
