Consumer Protection Specialist

We are seeking a Consumer Protection Specialist to join our team at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Trading Standards, Animal Health and Feed team and ensuring the effective delivery of regulatory advice, guidance and enforcement of legislation.

The salary for this position is £45,718 - £48,710 per annum, which is competitive considering the industry standards and location.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the Trading Standards, Animal Health and Feed team effectively
• Deliver regulatory advice, guidance and enforcement of legislation
• Discharge Statutory post obligations as Chief Inspector of Weights and Measures
• Act as Lead Feed Officer in accordance with statutory guidance and regulations

• Proven track record of delivering results in a similar role
