Transform Lives as a Functional Skills Tutor

We are working with an independent specialist day college that offers tailored programmes to meet individual needs, operating across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and South Yorkshire.

As a Functional Skills Tutor, you will deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics, English, and ICT up to Level 2, working across various locations including college campuses, employer premises, and community settings.

  1. Deliver engaging and differentiated teaching sessions for learners with complex and profound needs.
  2. Champion English, Mathematics, and ICT throughout all sessions.

Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent.
  2. Minimum Level 3 in Maths and English.
  3. Minimum Level 2 in ICT.
Desirable Qualifications:
  1. Additional qualifications relevant to SEND.
Experience:
  1. Teaching experience in special education settings with learners who have ASC, SLD, and PMLD.

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, plus benefits.
