Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for logistics? We're seeking a Same-Day Van Planner to join our dynamic team at CV Library.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company's fleet of commercial vehicles and trailers, ensuring continuous roadworthiness and compliance with current legislation and company policies.
  • Register and download vehicle and drivers' cards, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company procedures and legal requirements.
  • Conduct transport risk assessments, investigate transport accidents, and report near misses, ensuring a safe and efficient service.
  • Collaborate with the Transport Manager to manage fleet headcount and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Keep the Operations Manager informed of any operational issues and fleet availability, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software/systems and in-depth knowledge of current legislation and regulations related to commercial vehicles and drivers.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and reports, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
