About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced Building Surveyor to fill the position of Associate Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial surveying, with experience in managing and delivering projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors and contributing to the development of the company's strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Lead a team of surveyors and contribute to their development
- Develop and implement the company's strategy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Relevant degree qualification in Building Surveying or a related field
- MRICS qualification or close to achieving
- Proven track record as a Building Surveyor in a consultancy or client-side environment
- Experience working through RIBA Stages
- Commercial surveying experience, including pre-acquisition surveys, dilapidations, and party wall disputes
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
