About the Role

As Senior Assurance Officer, you will support the Certified Training and Education Manager with critical assurance processes, from proctoring online exams to investigating potential malpractice. You will play a vital role in upholding quality standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting new training providers through the approval process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proctoring Exams: Manage the proctoring process, reviewing videos, performing ID checks, and overseeing learner approval processes.
  • Investigations: Lead investigations into malpractice and maladministration, gathering and analysing data to determine the scope and findings.
  • Support and Assurance: Provide guidance on complex queries, collaborate on audit programme planning, and deputise for the manager as needed.
  • Training Provider Quality Assurance: Manage the application and approval process for a small portfolio of ATPs, monitor compliance, and liaise on corrective actions and feedback.

Benefits

  • Salary: £35,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid working (office in London)

Requirements

  • Experience: Strong experience in quality assurance, ideally within an awarding organisation, regulatory environment, or professional body.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to interpret policies and processes, with excellent analytical skills to ensure compliance and recommend improvements.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service and account management skills with experience in building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
