We're currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our Carlisle depot, where we have exciting opportunities for part-time and full-time roles. As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our depot, working efficiently and effectively as part of a team to meet our high standards.

What We Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £11.81, with an overtime rate of £17.72 once contractual hours are completed.

In addition to our competitive salary, our full-time colleagues enjoy a minimum of 32 days' annual leave (including Bank Holidays) and a 3% contribution to their pension. We also offer a range of flexible benefits, including shopping vouchers, insurance, and healthcare.

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll have the opportunity to progress to depot managerial positions and develop your skills and experience. We also offer the chance to boost your driving qualifications to a HGV Class 2 or Class 1 driver.

Key Responsibilities:

Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, sorting and scanning parcels into cages, and working efficiently to meet our high standards. You'll use hand-held terminals, pump-trucks, and clever conveyor systems to deliver parcels to the right place.

Our Warehouse Operative full-time 6-month contracts are 40 hours per week, with potential opportunity to progress to permanent contracts. Flexible and part-time hours are also available, and we offer a range of benefits to support your work-life balance.

Essential Skills & Experience:

We're looking for individuals who can work efficiently and effectively as part of a team, comply with company and health and safety regulations, and ensure scanning compliance. You'll also need to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
