About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Coordinator to join our team at Total Health Support and Training Services. As a key member of our Learning and Development Team, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deliver training programs to staff across various locations, using different methods of delivery to meet the needs of the service.
  2. Work closely with the Learning and Development Team to research and stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, legislation, and best practices in the care industry.
  3. Organize and deliver mandatory training, including induction programs, specialism training, and specialist behavioral support services.
  4. Liaise with external agencies, such as the council and small to medium enterprises, to ensure our training programs meet the needs of our service users and stakeholders.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
  • Experience in a training role, with a proven track record of delivering training programs to staff at various levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, dementia, Alzheimer's, and mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
