Training and Development Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Coordinator to join our team at Total Health Support and Training Services. As a key member of our Learning and Development Team, you will be responsible for delivering training programs to our staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care to our service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to staff across various locations, using different methods of delivery to meet the needs of the service.
- Work closely with the Learning and Development Team to research and stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, legislation, and best practices in the care industry.
- Organize and deliver mandatory training, including induction programs, specialism training, and specialist behavioral support services.
- Liaise with external agencies, such as the council and small to medium enterprises, to ensure our training programs meet the needs of our service users and stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent.
- Experience in a training role, with a proven track record of delivering training programs to staff at various levels.
- Excellent knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, dementia, Alzheimer's, and mental health.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
