Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Care Manager to oversee our client's children's residential service in Swindon. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the home and delivering exceptional care services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leadership and management, with a strong understanding of Quality Standards and Ofsted guidelines. You will be responsible for developing and leading a vibrant care team, as well as strategic planning for developments within the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Develop, mentor, and lead a skilled care team to deliver exceptional care services.
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the effective day-to-day running of the home, including the delivery of all care services and strategic planning for developments.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners.
Requirements
  • A Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in children's social care, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed Ofsted guidelines.
What We Offer
