We are seeking an experienced Design Director to join our team at Electric Square. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the design strategy and vision for our games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the studio design strategy and champion the highest quality of design across the studio.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to create engaging and immersive game experiences.
- Manage and mentor a team of designers to ensure they have the skills and support they need to succeed.
- Work closely with the Design Director to evaluate and improve game design processes and workflows.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game design and apply this knowledge to inform design decisions.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on design leadership and team management.
- Proven track record of delivering successful game designs and leading high-performing design teams.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of game design principles and the ability to apply this knowledge to create engaging and immersive game experiences.
