About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Wilds Lodge School, a specialist boarding and day provision for boys and girls with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will work with pupils across our three sites, providing therapy services and delivering assessments and interventions to support their education and development.


Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver speech and language therapy assessments and interventions to pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties, autism, learning disabilities, and other special educational needs.

* Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to support pupils' communication and social skills.

* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure that therapy programs are integral to pupils' education and development.

* Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and progress.


Requirements:

* Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy.

* Extensive and relevant experience post-registration.

* HCPC and RCSLT membership.

* Full driving license.

* Well-established knowledge about developmental speech and language disorders and communication disorders associated with complex conditions and emotional/behavioural disorders.

* Experience working in an educational setting with young people with social communication disorders (desirable).
