Corporate Governance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Governance Specialist to join our team at The London Clinic.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to provide support to our Company Secretary's office and contribute to the development of governance frameworks and systems.

  • This role will involve providing high-quality input and support to the meetings calendar, Trustees, and Executive Board, ensuring that statutory filings are completed on time.
  • You will work closely with the Deputy Company Secretary to prepare agendas, commission reports, and draft papers as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Deputy Company Secretary in preparing meeting materials, including agendas and papers.
  • Contribute to the production of the Annual Report, end-of-year processes, and external audit.
  • Ensure the Board and Committees are properly constituted, operated, and supported.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for strategic and exceptional projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate governance and company law.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to demonstrate a professional approach under pressure.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 per annum, dependant on experience. This includes a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme contributions, private medical healthcare, and 33 days' annual leave.
