Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Installation & Project Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a Senior Installation & Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of subsea structures, mooring systems, risers systems, flexible flowlines, and/or umbilicals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: You will supervise a team of engineers and a package, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Interface Management: You will oversee all external interfaces (clients, suppliers) and internal (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase), ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Document Preparation: You will prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs, and projects developed by the Group.
  • Engineering Activities: You will be autonomous and supervise the engineering activities related to the preparation and offshore installation of products.
  • Procedure Planning: You will plan, prepare, and confirm specific procedures (validation tests on site, transportation, and installation) and associated calculation notes (design lifting slings) defining priorities.
  • Technical Validation: You will participate in vessel mobilization and installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions, respecting the rules of the Group HSEQ.
  • Project Standards: You will ensure that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost, and Time.
  • Contractor Selection: You will be the technical owner and ensure the choice of contractors and supervise subcontracted studies.
  • Concept Validation: You will validate concepts and plan changes, accounting for HSEQ criteria.
  • Development and Improvement: You will validate developments and propose appropriate improvements, taking into account the Group's HSEQ standards.
  • Team Development: You will actively participate in the development and progression of our team.
  • Expertise Consolidation: You will actively participate in the consolidation of the expertise of the installation team.
  • Innovation: You will offer innovative solutions that enable the reduction of costs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Graduated with a Master of Engineering and relevant work experience in the energy sector.
  • Experience: Subsea Structures Installation and/or Flexible Flowlines/Umbilicals experience required. Mooring Installation and other relevant experience is desirable.
  • Offshore Operations: You will have experience of Offshore Operations.
  • Autonomy and Communication: Your autonomy, capacity to coordinate, and communicate are key assets to succeed at this position.
  • Team Leadership: You will have experience leading teams. Your English is fluent.
