Early Careers Journalist Vacancy at the BBC

We are seeking an early careers journalist to join our team at the BBC. This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop your skills in journalism while working alongside experienced professionals.

Job Description:
As a journalist apprentice, you will be responsible for creating quality content for TV, online, digital, and audio platforms. You will work closely with our news and sports teams to develop your journalistic skills and contribute to the success of our organization.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a NCTJ Diploma in Journalism and a Level 5 apprenticeship qualification. You should also have a strong understanding of maths and English, and be able to demonstrate your communication skills through written and verbal tests.

Eligibility:
You must be 18 years or older, have 3 years' UK or EEA residency, and be eligible to work in the UK full-time. You should not currently be in an apprenticeship scheme and be willing to commit to a 35-hour working week.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is around £28,500 - £30,500 per year, depending on experience.
