**About the Role:**

This Community Activity Organiser position is an exciting opportunity to join our team in Dumfriesshire and make a real difference in the lives of people living with dementia. We are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who can provide front-line support, lead therapeutic activities, and develop new ideas for engaging and therapeutic activities.

As a Community Activity Organiser, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality services and support individuals to maintain their skills and independence. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and development opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide front-line support to individuals with dementia and their families.
  • Lead therapeutic activities that promote skill maintenance, independence, and brain health.
  • Support individuals to engage in their interests, hobbies, and community activities.
  • Develop new ideas for engaging and therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality service delivery.

**Salary:** £23,000 - £26,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), depending on experience.
