Cleaner Position at Eastern Primary School

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout Eastern Primary School.

The successful candidate will join our excellent cleaning team, which was shortlisted for the Best Service Team category at the prestigious APSE Awards.

The role involves working 9.25 hours per week, 41 weeks per year, during term time only. The working hours are Monday and Tuesday 3.30pm - 5.30pm, and Wednesday to Friday 3.30pm - 5.15pm.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for pupils to learn. You will work closely with our team to ensure the school meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

We offer a competitive rate of pay, a living wage payment, and access to our generous Local Government Pension Scheme. You will also have access to the Council's Health & Wellbeing Group.

Some experience is necessary for the role, but all successful candidates will undergo a full induction and training programme.
