About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Development Platforms Group at Arm. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and operating cloud services that enable our partners and customers to adopt and build on our latest designs and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, API-driven cloud services using AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Run cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services.
  • Apply DevOps principles, including Continuous Integration and Delivery, to automate development processes.
  • Follow the Agile software development lifecycle, participating in user research, decision-making, implementation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to define service-level objectives (SLO) and support metrics.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Go, C++, Rust, C#, or Python, with experience in server-side deployments.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, web services, and connected databases and stores on dynamically scaled cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with common design principles for building scalable and robust web services.
