About the Role

The SOUTH EAST RIVERS TRUST is seeking an experienced professional to lead their river restoration efforts. This role will oversee the implementation of high-quality practical river and catchment enhancement work.

As a member of the Executive and Leadership Team, you will support the good governance of the Trust and work closely with the Board of Trustees. You will be responsible for implementing the Trust's 3-year plan and shaping the long-term future.

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled leader to drive sustainable rivers conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the Trust's river restoration projects.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support the development of the Trust's strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in river restoration or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £52,832 - £70,442 (pro-rated if part-time).
  • A full-time 37.8 FTE position with opportunities for growth and development.
