Winter Delivery Associate

As a Postal Worker with the Royal Mail, you will play a vital role in delivering parcels to local residents. This is an exciting chance to be part of a much-loved brand that provides postal delivery services to millions of people across the UK.

You will start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering mail needed for your route. You will then collect your allocated vehicle and hand-held computer device detailing your route and tracking your mail. Your shift lengths may vary between 4-8 hours per day, depending on the needs of the operation.

• Deliver parcels to local residents, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a professional attitude at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries using hand-held technology.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A high level of physical fitness to enable you to walk long distances during your shift.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

£16.58 per hour (PAYE), with the potential to earn £17.19 per hour on Sundays.
