Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Site Manager with a proven track record of managing large-scale residential construction projects. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all on-site activities, overseeing sub-contractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Enforce health and safety policies, conducting regular checks and audits to ensure full compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics, ensuring smooth workflow and project progression.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders to ensure clear communication and efficient decision-making.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to specification, within budget, and meets the required quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, progress reports, and inspections to monitor and drive performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential schemes, ideally with a Tier 1 or similar main contractor.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS) and experience in managing similar large residential developments.
