Cedar Care Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Eden Mansions Nursing Home. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Order and manage kitchen supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality (desirable)
- Experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
