Job Title: Podiatrist (Band 6)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist (Band 6) to join our team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, part of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

About the Role:

This is a locum opportunity for a Podiatrist (Band 6) to provide high-quality foot care services to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, formulating and implementing care plans, and providing treatment as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting autonomous assessments of patients' health conditions.
  • Formulating and implementing care plans.
  • Providing treatment as necessary.
  • Using evidence-based practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date podiatry records in line with professional standards.
  • Staying current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Podiatrist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Full UK right to work.
