Construction Internal Quality Assessor

Stanfords Training Ltd, a leading provider of vocational training, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Quality Assessor to join their team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting assessors in the construction sector, ensuring that assessments meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and deliver training programs to support assessors in achieving their goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of training and assessment processes, providing feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure that all assessments comply with relevant awarding body regulations and national standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments and verifications, including reports on performance and improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance and training to assessors on best practices in assessment and verification.
  • Offer support to apprentices regarding assessment processes and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of training materials and assessment practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of relevant qualifications and standards.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • An Internal Verifier qualification (such as IV or V1).
  • CAVA / A1 assessor award.
  • Level 3 Teacher Qualification/PTLLS.
  • Knowledge and understanding of current best practices in assessment and verification.
